Adding a little more to the analysis

One thing that has some but not a great deal of effect in a campaign is a web page. Facebook and Twitter have gotten more important than they used to be but having a good face out to the world still counts.

Looking at all the candidate's pages from bottom to top in my opinion.

7. Verga  This looks like nothing new has been posted for several months now.  Linking to websites of every community doesn't send any message at all.  We think the switch to a DC PR firm that has no web ability is probably the reason. Needs attention and soon.

6. McKelvey  No place to donate.  Still has links to volunteer to be a convention delegate.  His list of counties on his sign up page only lists 15 counties.  Sit looks good but needs updating and attention to detail.  Could move up.

5. Ferrin  It just has little pizzaz.  Old looking design with good videos that would present much better with some flash to them.

4, McPadden- Too many pictures with people he met and does not really know but wants you to think he does.    Nice idea on check box for do not call on volunteer sheet.  Nice visual appearance.  Page for endorsements says seven, only lists six and at least one has not endorsed anyone(ATR)  Site shows overreaching for both personal and organizational endorsements.

3. Boyd  It needs updating as it still has December events.  Good use of color and very believable pictures.  Could be first of class with regular updating.

2. Hurt  Nice visual appeal.  Family picture is good.  Looks to be updated regularly.  What the heck is the bullhorn for ?  No donation button :(  Needs tweaking

1. Morton  Best visuals.  Seems to get regular updating. Is costing a lot.  Need ability to enter other than cell numbers for volunteers.  Really like the way moving the mouse over the site creates action.  Really keeps your attention.  BEST SITE

  1. they all should update more often. I would like a schedule posted ahead of time.

  2. Most campaigns don't want their plans known too easily by others. Don't think you are likely to see much ahead of time.
