Questions for Mike McPadden- the union leader

Looking over your resume on your website, there are several things I know voters will want you to clear up before they consider you.

You say you got your wings in 1981 and later say you left in 1986 after six years of duty.  Maybe I just don't count well but 1986 minus 1981 seems like five years to me.

You also say you volunteered to be the contract administrative point man for the union.  I know you will probably say you has to join the union, but did you have to be a union functionary also ?  I don't know of a single state nor union that requires that one be a leader in a union.  Why would you do this ?

What exactly is Liberty Trading Partners Incorporated ?  Do they have financial records open to the public ?  Where ?Is this just a family plaything ? Who are the other partners ?  Is this just a way to hide your economic interests from the voters ?

Please respond.

  1. I in no way support McPadden (or any other of the GOP candidates, for that matter), but, because Mr. McPadden said six years, I assume he meant it:

    -1981 (1)
    -1982 (2)
    -1983 (3)
    -1984 (4)
    -1985 (5)
    -1986 (6)

Could he have possibly left duty at the end of '86?

  2. 1981-82- year 1
    82-83-year 2
    83-84 year 3
    84-85 year 4
    85-86 year 5

Since he started in mid year 81, he would have had to have gone to mid year 87 to have 6 years- not 85

  3. Wow. A math and reading fail in one article. His sight clearly states, "Mike joined the United States Navy, completed Aviation Officer Candidate School and was commissioned as an ensign in August of 1980. In June of 1981 Mike Earned his wings as a United States Naval Aviator.
... Mike seperated from active duty and joined Northwest in 1986."

1980-1986. Without months attached to these years, that is potential for 7 full years with a mininmum of 6.
