Getting Started

Why another blog about politics in the Fifth District ? First of all, we must regain this seat from one of the worst liberal congressmen in the nation. If it is not done in 2010 before redistricting, we may never see the opportunity for anther ten yeras.

I have been watching a number of blogs around the Fifth District for some time now and it is clear that another is needed. I am listing a number that I read and will be adding more.

There is one done by Bill Hay who calls it Virginia's 5th District but sadly I doubt that Bill has ever visited most of the counties in the fifth. He has also become a mouthpiece for one candidate and just isn't a good observer of the whole scene. I had great hope for his blog but have lost them.

There are also a couple of other blogs from Republicans but they really again are not good judges of the entire district.  We want to correct that as best we can

This blog will have reporters all over the district to report on the comings and goings, strengths and weaknesses of all the candidates. Each reporter will have their own opinions and I will not be editing them. So far, the different campaigns have shown glaring weaknesses in their operations and I think that can be reflective of the candidates as far as what they can do in the november elections. You need to know them in order to make a real choice about who your nominee will be.

We must select a strong conservative candidate who can and will take the Fifth back to being the real Fifth District again. Join us on the journey.
